Cavity probing

It is well known that sedimentary rocks like Limestone in Riyadh city is subjected to cavities. The solution cavity is a kind of geological hazardous and it will affect the structure stability if encountered near the zone where the buildings’ foundation placed.

 There are different methods to detect the cavities. Some of them using geophysical   technology like ERT (Electrical resistivity test) and GPR (Ground Penetration Radar).

The most practical method for cavity detection is mechanical one.
